Trio set for success – new Executive Board at R+W
R+W Antriebselemente GmbH has opted for experience from within its own ranks by appointing three long-serving authorized officers
Exceptional times call for sustainable foundations and entrepreneurial vision – an experienced triumvirate was appointed to the R+W Executive Board this summer to deliver exactly that. Maximilian Crößmann, Frank Kronmüller and Holger Vogt, three long-serving R+W managers, now make up the Executive Board at the world’s leading manufacturer of precision and industrial couplings. Following the company’s relocation in 2019 to its new corporate headquarters in Wörth am Main, it has now set its future course targeting innovation and success.
Maximilian Crößmann’s brief includes Finance, IT and Human Resources. The 35-year-old with an international MBA qualification is focusing on clear-cut structures and transparent processes – the basis for a controlled expansion strategy. “One of the biggest value-adding factors in our business continues to be our employees, who possess in-depth know-how and demonstrate a commitment to creating specific customer solutions. That is why I wish to en-trench R+W as an attractive employer even more firmly in the minds of people beyond the Lower Main region – especially among talented young people. The company’s modern corporate headquarters and the informal working environment involving challenging international projects speak for themselves.”
Frank Kronmüller has already been in charge of the Sales and Marketing division for 22 years. During this period he was instrumental in setting up R+W’s overseas subsidiaries in China and the USA, for example. He has also been CEO of R+W’s Italian subsidiary since 2008. In his new position at headquarters the 53-year-old will be focusing, among other things, on extending sales and marketing automation as part of the strategic corporate development approach that the company is taking. “You will find technological progress expressed not just in our products, such as the Intelligent Coupling. We will increasingly digitalise as well as automate our information and sales processes and adapt them to the changed communcation behaviour of a new generation of buyers. Nevertheless we regard personal contact with our customers as very important. The right blend will enable R+W to keep on growing successfully.”
Holger Vogt joined R+W’s Operations division at the end of 2017 and has already left his mark on the company by managing the environmentally compatible “Corporate Headquarters“ new-build project and by merging three sites. He has been CEO of Poppe + Potthoff Slovakia k.s since October 2019 and is now also in charge of Production, Logistics and Purchasing at R+W. One of the experienced 51-year-old graduate engineer’s priorities will be expanding industrial, data-based process structures and introducing a LEAN culture: “Our overriding objective is always to be able to meet our customers’ requirements better, faster and more efficiently – without losing our medium-sized craft business DNA in the process.”
