Company growth necessitates relocation to a new company building
A new phase is about to begin - the move to the new R+W headquarters in mid-October was perfect.
The reason for the new building was the continuous growth of R+W Antriebselemente GmbH, which will be celebrating its thirtieth anniversary next year. More space was needed for production and administration, which was made possible with the new building. A new company building with ap-prox. 1,000 sqm of office space and 2,500 sqm space for production was built on the approx. 7,000 sqm site. The location was chosen in close coordination with the parent company Poppe + Potthoff from Werther, Westphalia.
From the submission of the planning application in October 2018 to the start of construction work in January 2019 and ultimately to the relocation in October 2019, it took only 1 year. A tight schedule that could be kept due to the excellent cooperation of all participants.
More than 8 million Euros were invested to meet the growing demand of the industry and to further implement the strategic goals of R+W Antriebselemente GmbH. After all, the company aims to re-main one of the leading manufacturers of industrial and precision clutches in future.
An inauguration ceremony of the new company building is planned together with the 30th company anniversary for the autumn of 2020.
